Breeding high numbers of Culex restuans and Culex pipiens mosquitoes. These species are responsible for amplification and transmission of West Nile Virus in Indiana. The mixture of hay and water in the black plastic–lined reservoir made this “Indiana’s largest CDC Gravid Trap.”
